1 Manasseh4519 was twelve8147 6240 years8141 old1121 when he began to reign,4427 and reigned4427 fifty2572 and five2568 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389 And his mother's517 name8034 was Hephzibah.2657

2 And he did6213 that which834 was evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 after the abominations8441 of the heathen,1471 whom834 the LORD3068 cast3423 out before6440 the children1121 of Israel.3478

3 For he built1129 up again7725 the high1116 places which834 Hezekiah2396 his father1 had destroyed;6 and he reared6965 up altars4196 for Baal,1168 and made6213 a grove,842 as did6213 Ahab256 king4428 of Israel;3478 and worshipped7812 all3605 the host6635 of heaven,8064 and served5647 them.

4 And he built1129 altars4196 in the house1004 of the LORD,3068 of which834 the LORD3068 said,559 In Jerusalem3389 will I put7760 my name.8034

6 And he made his son1121 pass5674 through the fire,784 and observed6049 times, and used enchantments,5172 and dealt6213 with familiar spirits178 and wizards:3049 he worked6213 much7235 wickedness7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 to provoke him to anger.3707

7 And he set7760 a graven6459 image of the grove842 that he had made6213 in the house,1004 of which834 the LORD3068 said559 to David,1732 and to Solomon8010 his son,1121 In this2088 house,1004 and in Jerusalem,3389 which834 I have chosen977 out of all3605 tribes7626 of Israel,3478 will I put7760 my name8034 for ever:5769

8 Neither3808 will I make the feet7272 of Israel3478 move5110 any more3254 out of the land127 which834 I gave5414 their fathers;1 only7535 if518 they will observe8104 to do6213 according to all3605 that I have commanded6680 them, and according to all3605 the law8451 that my servant5650 Moses4872 commanded6680 them.

9 But they listened8085 not: and Manasseh4519 seduced8582 them to do6213 more evil7451 than4480 did the nations1471 whom834 the LORD3068 destroyed8045 before6440 the children1121 of Israel.3478

10 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 by his servants5650 the prophets,5030 saying,559

11 Because3282 834 Manasseh4519 king4428 of Judah3063 has done6213 these428 abominations,8441 and has done6213 wickedly7489 above all3605 that the Amorites567 did,6213 which834 were before6440 him, and has made Judah3063 also1571 to sin2398 with his idols:1544

12 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 Behold,2009 I am bringing935 such evil7451 on Jerusalem3389 and Judah,3063 that whoever3605 hears8085 of it, both8147 his ears241 shall tingle.6750

13 And I will stretch5186 over5921 Jerusalem3389 the line6957 of Samaria,8111 and the plummet4949 of the house1004 of Ahab:256 and I will wipe4229 Jerusalem3389 as a man wipes4229 a dish,6747 wiping4229 it, and turning2015 it upside5921 6440 down.

14 And I will forsake5203 the remnant7611 of my inheritance,5159 and deliver5414 them into the hand3027 of their enemies;341 and they shall become1961 a prey957 and a spoil4933 to all3605 their enemies;341

15 Because3282 834 they have done6213 that which was evil7451 in my sight,5869 and have provoked me to anger,3707 since4480 the day3117 their fathers1 came3318 forth3318 out of Egypt,4714 even to this2088 day.3117

16 Moreover1571 Manasseh4519 shed8210 innocent5355 blood1818 very3966 much,7235 till5704 he had filled4390 Jerusalem3389 from one end6310 to another; beside905 his sin2403 with which834 he made Judah3063 to sin,2398 in doing6213 that which was evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD.3068

17 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Manasseh,4519 and all3605 that he did,6213 and his sin2403 that he sinned,2398 are they not written3789 in the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of Judah?3063

18 And Manasseh4519 slept7901 with his fathers,1 and was buried6912 in the garden1588 of his own house,1004 in the garden1588 of Uzza:5798 and Amon526 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

19 Amon526 was twenty6242 and two8147 years8141 old1121 when he began to reign,4427 and he reigned4427 two8147 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389 And his mother's517 name8034 was Meshullemeth,4922 the daughter1323 of Haruz2743 of Jotbah.3192

20 And he did6213 that which was evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 as his father1 Manasseh4519 did.6213

21 And he walked3212 in all3605 the way1870 that his father1 walked1980 in, and served5647 the idols1544 that his father1 served,5647 and worshipped7812 them:

22 And he forsook5800 the LORD3068 God430 of his fathers,1 and walked1980 not in the way1870 of the LORD.3068

23 And the servants5650 of Amon526 conspired7194 against5921 him, and slew4191 the king4428 in his own house.1004

24 And the people5971 of the land776 slew5221 all3605 them that had conspired7194 against5921 king4428 Amon;526 and the people5971 of the land776 made Josiah2977 his son1121 king4427 in his stead.8478

2 И делал неприятное для очей Иеговы, подражая мерзостям народов, которые прогнал Иегова от лица сынов Израилевых.

3 И снова построил высоты, которые разрушил отец его Езекия, и поставил жертвенники Ваалу, и сделал Астарту, так, как сделал Ахав, царь Израильский, и поклонялся всему воинству небесному, и служил ему.

4 И соорудил жертвенники в доме Иеговы, о котором сказал Иегова: в Иерусалиме положу имя Мое.

5 И также построил жертвенники всему воинству небесному, на обоих дворах дома Иеговы.

6 И провел сына своего через огонь, и гадал, и ворожил, и учредил вызывателей мертвецов, и волшебников, много делал неприятного для очей Иеговы, к Его огорчению.

7 И поставил истукан Астарты, который он сделал, в доме, о котором Иегова говорил Давиду и сыну его Соломону: в доме сем и в Иерусалиме, который Я избрал из всех колен Израилевых, Я водворяю имя Мое навек.

8 И не дам впредь выступить ноге Израильтянина из сей земли, которую Я дал отцам их, если только они будут беречь себя, поступая согласно со всем тем, что Я повелел им, и согласно со всем законом, который передал им раб Мой Моисей.

9 Но они не послушались, и довел их Манассия до того, что они поступали хуже тех народов, которых истребил Иегова от лица сынов Израилевых.

10 И говорил Иегова чрез рабов своих, пророков.

11 За то, что Манассия, царь Иудейский, делал такие мерзости, хуже всего того, что делывали Аммореи прежде его, и Иуду ввел в грех идолами своими;

12 За то, так говорит Иегова, Бог Израилев: вот Я наведу на Иерусалим и на Иудею такое зло, о котором кто ни услышит, зазвенит у него в обоих ушах.

13 И протяну на Иерусалим мерную вервь Самарии, и отвес дома Ахавова, и вытру Иерусалим так, как вытирают чашу, - вытрут и опрокинут ее.

14 И покину остаток наследия Моего, и отдам их в руку врагов их, и достанутся на расхищение и разграбление всем неприятелям своим, -

15 За то, что они делали неприятное для очей Моих и огорчали Меня с того дня, как отцы их вышли из Египта до сего дня.

16 И невинной крови весьма много пролил Манассия, так, что наполнил ею Иерусалим от края до края, сверх своего греха, что он соблазнил Иуду делать неприятное для очей Иеговы.

17 Прочее о Манассии и обо всем, что он сделал, и о грехах его, в чем он согрешил, все это написано в книге дневных записей царей Иудейских.

18 И опочил Манассия с отцами своими, и погребен в саду при его доме, в саду Узы. Вместо его сделался царем сын его Амон.

19 Амон был двадцати двух лет, когда начал царствовать, и царствовал в Иерусалиме два года. Имя матери его Мешуллемефь, дочь Харуца из Иатевы.

20 И делал он неприятное для очей Иеговы, так, как делал отец его Манассия.

21 И ходил тою же точно дорогою, которою ходил отец его, и служил идолам, которым служил отец его, и поклонялся им.

22 А Иегову, Бога отцев своих, оставил, и не ходил путем Иеговы.

23 Рабы Амоновы составили против него заговор, и умертвили царя в доме его.

24 Но народ земли перебил всех сговорившихся против царя Амона, и поставил народ земли царем, вместо его, сына его Иосию.

25 Прочее об Амоне, что он сделал, написано в книге дневных записей царей Иудейских.

26 И похоронили его в гробнице его, в саду Узы. Вместо его сделался царем сын его Иосия.

5 И также построил жертвенники всему воинству небесному, на обоих дворах дома Иеговы.

10 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 by his servants5650 the prophets,5030 saying,559

10 И говорил Иегова чрез рабов своих, пророков.

11 За то, что Манассия, царь Иудейский, делал такие мерзости, хуже всего того, что делывали Аммореи прежде его, и Иуду ввел в грех идолами своими;

12 За то, так говорит Иегова, Бог Израилев: вот Я наведу на Иерусалим и на Иудею такое зло, о котором кто ни услышит, зазвенит у него в обоих ушах.

24 Но народ земли перебил всех сговорившихся против царя Амона, и поставил народ земли царем, вместо его, сына его Иосию.
